Rainy days are tough, y’all. Before children, a rainy day meant snuggling in bed or on the couch with some hot chocolate and a good book, while catching up on television shows that were cluttering up my DVR. Post child, rainy days include said child bouncing off the walls, pulling toys and household items out of every crevice in the house, and counting the hours until Daddy makes it home to help entertain.
Thankfully for us, Bladium Sports & Fitness Club has an indoor fun zone, consisting of bounce houses, inflatables, and plenty of room to run in circles, practice somersaults, kick soccer balls, and set up obstacle courses.
Hours throughout the school year consist of Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9:30am–3pm. Bladium’s drop in prices are as follows:
Family Club Members: $6
Youth Sport Members: $7.50
I will warn you, everything is not in mint condition. It’s honestly not the cleanest (there were some massive chips of dirt throughout the smaller inflatable during our visit,) and the crawl tunnel has seen better days. However, your child is guaranteed to burn some energy off and snooze the afternoon away. (Unless, of course, he’s like my child who, at times, amazes me with his never ending energy when he should be sleeping…but that’s for another conversation.)
